Dear Parents and Carers,

Now we have hit December, Christmas is fast approaching and we have lots of exciting activities planned for the forthcoming weeks in school.

LFPA Christmas Fayre
Our LFPA Christmas Fayre is taking place next Saturday 9th December between 11;00 and 15;00 at Mead. There will be a variety of stalls and refreshments plus an ice rink for you to test your skating skills!! We will have a raffle with some amazing prizes and, of course, we will have one very special visitor for the children to see-Father Christmas. Please come along and support our schools as all proceeds will help us ensure we are able to continue offering wonderful experiences for our children.

Premier School Wear
Please be advised that the Romford trading counter of  Premier Schoolwear will be closing at 16:00 on Friday 15th December for the Christmas holiday. They will re-open at 8:00 on Tuesday 2nd January.

Diary Dates
The week starts with a year 5 & 6 girls football competition. Year 5 pupils are taking part in bikeability everyday this week and in the afternoon year 6 boys continue to step up during their outdoor pursuits session.
On Tuesday 5th the choir have their first singing session of the season for Homes in Havering. Year 2 are going to Mead for their forest schools session.
On Wednesday 6th Larch class are going to the Royal Court of Justice and we have the final sharing assembly of the term. We welcome parents and carers to join us for the clubs showcase, I  am certain that we will be in for a treat as usual. Year 4 have a visit from the dogs trust and LAMDA lessons will take place in the afternoon.
On Thursday Redwood are visiting the Royal Court of Justice and the Harry Potter book club are taking part in the Ravenclaw round  of the Harry Potter Quiz.
We round the week off by inviting Nursery, Reception and Year 1 pupils to bedtime Christmas stories on Friday 8th.
Don’t forget on Saturday 9th it’s the LFPA Christmas Fayre.

Havering Catering Services
Week beginning Monday 4th December  is week 3 on the Havering Catering Services menu. A school meal costs £2.20 and is served with unlimited salad and vegetables.
