Fact Hunters:

This week we have had a tremendous number of interesting facts being shared by the children. Congratulations to the following children who have amazed us with their ability to hunt out interesting snippets of information:

Caitlin Bowden
Did you know that the Vikings never really wore their horned helmets into battle? In fact they weren’t even known as Vikings instead they were called Norsemen or Danes. In addition they could make soap from conkers!

Tegan Sage
Vikings weren’t quite as bloodthirsty as we think. The men and women spent most of their time
farming!

Maliat Bakreen
Bouncy balls are made from compressed silicon and are compressed to over 1,200 PSI.

Ashlee Wright
Did you know that the reason rivers aren’t salty is because the water is being constantly refreshed. In
the sea the salt isn’t washed away.
