Budding young cyclists from Broadford Primary were fortunate enough to have tickets to visit The Lee Valley Velopark and see the world’s top track cyclists return to the iconic velodrome last week to compete for victory in the UCI World Track Cycling Championships.
I couldn't wait to see Sir Bradley Wiggins... he is my hero. When he rode onto the track for the men's team pursuit the crowd really cheered and made a huge noise. Seeing him whizz round the track was incredible - I didn't realise how fast they go.
