Diary Events

Volunteers from the Parent Council will be in to visit new pupils on Monday and Tuesday morning and listen to their views on our school, as well as hearing how they have settled in. Our Year 6 pupils have their assembly about the Theatre of Law on Monday too. This is an introduction before they go off for their debate in the Royal Courts of Justice.

On Tuesday there is bike and scooter training for Year 1&2 – weather permitting! Please send you child in with the scooter or bike for this event. In addition, we have the netball match against Brookside which was postponed from this week.

Birch have their Sharing Assembly on Wednesday followed by their Maths Party on Friday. Wednesday morning is also the time for the next Health & Safety walk, this time looking at the external grounds. On Thursday our Year 5&6 pupils have a road safety production visiting.

Mrs Nicholls will be hosting a Reading Volunteers meeting on Friday at 9am and we have some visitors from Denmark coming to look at how we use video technology to improve the quality of teaching… a busy week!
