Fact Hunters: Cats, fish & dolphins

This week we have had a tremendous number of interesting facts being shared by the children. Congratulations to the following children who have amazed us with their ability to hunt out interesting snippets of information:

Sophie Adams
There are 3 muscles in the human ear. Interestingly cats, although small has 32 muscles in their ears.

Toby Smith
Amazingly it is unadvisable for pregnant women to swim with dolphins as the aquatic mammal can be attracted to the unborn baby and may bump against the mother.

Did you know that cuttlefish have greenish blue because it uses a copper containing protein to transport oxygen rather than iron that mammals and other animals use.
