We have just had a disastrous week for attendance. The score for the week was 93.79% which is significantly below our target. It is imperative that the children are here for every day. I will not authorize holidays during term time and absences are reported to the Educational Welfare Officer (Tracy Bowden). This could lead to a fine. We are extremely proud of all the efforts that you have made as parents to help us reach the national expectation of 95%. At this point of the year we don’t want that good work to be undone.
Some classes have been excellent – even during this bad spell! Elm Class have managed to score a perfect week and will now be enjoying their cupcake party! Well done Elm.
