Queen's Visit to Drapers Academy

Drapers Academy have the incredible honour of welcoming Her Majesty the Queen to their school on Friday. We have the amazing honour of having the parent governor who will be doing the cooking for the 3 course lunch. Mr Borrell was in school today showing the children what culinary wonders he will be creating. Watch out for the story in this week's Recorder!

We have received confirmation from the palace of the departure times for The Queen on Friday 26th October. Once she has had her tour of the building, met the pupils and eaten lunch, Her Majesty will be driven out along Settle Road to the A12.

We would like to inform pupils, parents (carers) and relatives that they are welcome to go along to view The Queens departure, from Settle Road between 2.20pm to 2.50pm.
