Guide Dogs Visit Reception & Nursery

All week the Reception and Nursery children have been learning about different people who help them. To date they have met: the local policeman, firemen from Spillsby Road, the lollipop lady and the St John's Ambulance! However, the main event came at the end of the week with a visit from a very helpful animal. The Guide Dogs For the Blind charity came in and explained how they train dogs to help those who are visually impaired. The children loved the dog and learnt alot about how we rely on animals, just as much as each other. Thank you to all of the visitors who have made this such an exciting week. A big Broadford thank you also goes to the Early Years staff and school secretaries who have arranged the visits and trips.
